China could lose 95% of ballistic, cruise missiles under strategic arms control

We will deal with it. And we should be concerned about how powerful China is considering how much you have built in the last recent years and and your actions getting ready to start a war. Seems to me you are getting ready to take on a powerful military that could stand in your way. Sure you didn't build all those aircraft carriers and thousands of ASBMs just for Vietnam or the Phillipines?

No way an economic powerhouse does not have a powerful military.

Welcome to the world of reality bro.

Speaking of SpaceX, they are on pace to have sent 6 people to orbit by early September. China has sent 11 TOTAL in its ENTIRE history. In other words, a private American company is on pace to surpass China by the end of 2021.

Spacex is just a token of NASA.

No way that Elon Musk can achieve the same thing in his home country South Africa. Of course he has to rely on the American technology.

BTW, we have also sent our next gen manned spaceship with maximum capacity of 7 astronauts, just 25 days prior Spacex.

Of course not, but there are rich countries that have a military but not 70 plus destroyers, couple of carriers and thousands of ASBMs.

When the INF treaty was originally signed the world was a different place. Despite that, China has its own strategic objectives and unless those can be met and sustained by signing such a treaty, it is not in their interest to do so. Unless they are coerced into do so, it is not even a point to bring up in the near term.

The US seems to have been abusing its powers in recent decades because of the power it holds. What good did that do? Pointing fingers at China certainly is hypocrite

Since our GDP will be soon at peer with the US, so why not taking our military to that level as well.

Since it is pretty cheap for us to build all these toys, and to acquire a thousand ICBMs is also quite handy for us as well. :coffee:

SpaceX has revolutionized the space launch industry, and are well ahead of the Chinese. Wait until Starship reaches orbit. Then you will be left in the dust.

Sure, but I will say you have an open window of 5 to 10 years before the full deployment of IRBMs in the Pacific. By that time, doesn't matter how much you built.

I think the Chinese can overpower that when they are so determined for unification. I think the US will have to come to term and live with it.

Starship is still a decade away.

We have our super heavy rockets to contain that as well; Long March 9, 921, KZ-31.

This is just to replicate the same old game during the last Cold War, and the country with the most powerful manufacturing capability will take the triumph of this race.

The Soviet Union crumbled because it did not had the economy. Today China's economy goes without saying is rushing like a bullet train to the top spot. Manufacturing wise speaking it is mighty impressive.

By 2025, China will already have to deploy the Type 055A with the railgun and 300KW laser that is more than twice powerful than the laser tested by the USN recently.

And there is no chance you can outproduce China in the hypersonic weapon department.

The Chinese having a head start for sure. Earlier deployment and can easily mass produce at faster speed and lower cost.

You don't even know that. That laser on the USN ship was a test. Not even the final product. They are constantly testing them. And doesn't matter how many hypersonic weapons when couple of thousand is enough. Will you be impressed if we have 10k nukes or 1k nukes? Not really. Thats just overdoing it.

Starship is on track to reach orbit next year at the pace SpaceX is moving. Starship will revolutionize the entire aerospace industry. Far exceeding Chinese capabilities, and its not even close.
