The Sniper World Cup is a sniper competition for police and military snipers held annually in Budapest, Hungary. It is open to all countries but composes mainly of European countries with America and some Latin American countries
The Chinese team first took part in the 2007 sniper's world cup and has competed every year since. In their first two years they failed to make the the shortlist for the finals and came in 10th out of 23 in 2009, but this Year they took 3 Golds, 2 Silvers, 3 Bronzes for an overall finish of 3rd place. The 3 Golds came went to PLA team, and the 2 Silvers and 3 Bronzes went to the People's Armed Police team.
The rifle that the PLA and PAP team used in competition is a no-frills Remington 700, much less hi-tech than those used by the other competitors.
talk about an awkward firing position...
Here are some candid photos of the Chinese team
Oh and Russia came in 1st in the overall competition
