The Chinese team first took part in the 2007 sniper's world cup and has competed every year since. In their first two years they failed to make the the shortlist for the finals and came in 10th out of 23 in 2009, but this Year they took 3 Golds, 2 Silvers, 3 Bronzes for an overall finish of 3rd place. The 3 Golds came went to PLA team, and the 2 Silvers and 3 Bronzes went to the People's Armed Police team.

The rifle that the PLA and PAP team used in competition is a no-frills Remington 700, much less hi-tech than those used by the other competitors.

. . .
Which idiot hit the civilian on the neck.......

I think the guy with red shirt is meant to be holding the woman hostage in the picture.

Like what is being shown in the 3rd pic of the second post.

. .
So, who came in second.

Did not say in the source and I couldn't find a lot of the sources when I posted. I bookmarked this for a post a while ago.

Events like these get very little press for some reason. The international airborne special forces competition is hardly publicized either though all the major Euro and Americans militaries sent teams

Antropoid international military competition
At the 14th Anthropoid international military competition held in Slovakia in July 2009, Zhang Maochun, together with 7 of his comrades-in-arms, won 8 first places and 6 second places in 13 individual competition events and ranked the first in number of gold medals and total number of medals as well as in total score among all foreign participating teams. The Chinese team also brushed 6 records of the Anthropoid international military competition

and don't be tricked by MND accounting. Czech paratroopers won it, but the PLA troopers came second and third, so that's why they're trying to imply that China won. Again Chinese state omits and censors but it never straight out lies.

. . .
I see that the Chinese used the QBU-88 and JS-2 sniper rifles.
