China city bans Christmas in schools

China has 2246 colleges and thousands of cities.Only one or two schools and cities call people don't celebrate Christmas.

Most Chinese don't care about that at all because we have our traditional festivals ,few people treat it as another shopping day or special day to have fun with friends.Even in America,Chinese restaurants will open door in Christmas Day.

In my most friends' eyes,Christmas Day is a good excuse to invite girls to watch movies,have a meal and .......

The Chinese government was scarred of a news that china shall become the biggest christian country in coming next 3 decade? Large Numbers of Christians means a fertile ground of interference of missionary.

The difference are that Chinese religions refuse interference from external organizations and most believers aren't devout as Indian to your religions.

However, with the increase in number of Christians, Churches will invariably will intervene in matter of state. So if Chinese government is vigilant because of that reason, they can not be blamed.

China is no match for christianity. Christianity brought down evry simple empire that did stand against it. Ban it and it gains even more power. So far there are more christians in china than communist party members. Christmas is celebrated all over the country. Most people love it as fun and cool event. So this nonsense is laughable.

First of all don't compare Buddhism with Christianity or Islam they don't possess spiritual science like Buddhism.legacy of the spiritual knowledge is became core of the Chinese cultural values for centuries but due after the rise of communist it's legacy faded aways with time.

Then you believe in the philosophy of" Ekam Sat vipraha bahudha vadanti".

Means one truth is said by wise people in different manner. It means different Dharms lead to one ultimate reality called god.

Here it is necessary to distinguish between Dharma and panth or Mazahab.

Dharm is universal and for whole humanity while the panth and Mazahabs are for groups, cast, creeds etc.

In the past thousand of years,no religion has succeed in intervening state matters in China.

The mainstream ideology is Confucianist,Taoist and Chinese-style Buddhism.

New religions can never beat such spiritual ballasts in the past.Nowadays,we believe in science.Secularization is a inevitable trend.

China is inviting trouble again and again and they are becoming really arrogant and this would lead to there downfall. I hope they move back on these issues other wise future doesn't look good for them.
