If that does not signify their arrival as a power on the global scene, I dont know what else does. Well...I'll admit there is a dearth of local talent going to engineering and science. And universities are looking to fill these slots with foreign students. The thing that worries is the abuse of work visa where companies have to show that Americans dont exist for that particular job and then hire foreign workers. As long as there is no visa abuse and everything's legal, I welcome everyone to our country. I also hope that people would be grateful for their education and their stay here, and not go back home and start cyber warfare companies that crash our computers at Pentagon. So, a little miffed by that. That's all. Americans are among the most welcoming of developed nations. We definitely know how hard it is for immigrants in Europe. We simply have no racial predicaments here. And that should tell a lot about us as a culture. One town I would definitely avoid going to is Morgantown, WV. There seem to be an outbreak of paranoia there, X-files style, and one resident has been quarantined to the PDF cyberspace.
