Once the TPP is ratified, Vietnam becomes the new premier low-cost production base that will have free access to the US, Japanese, and Australian markets. Thus there will be a massive relocation of factories from China to Vietnam, and Vietnam will grow richer and stronger. Stronger and prosperous Vietnam serves the US interests.


The US objective is that if they are going to send jobs to overseas, then send them to Vietnam instead of China, as well as shipping Chinese jobs to Vietnam as well.

Vietnam is lacking the required skilled and educated human source to run those factories. their skilled standard is very poor so is practically impossible this to happen....

Bcz CHina betrayed Communist block and seek for friendship with US during 70s when VN still got embargo until 2010, so US helped CHina alot in economy .Japan ODA also keep flowing to CHina to improve her infrastructure.

But now, US think he should help VN too, and we just make friend with US last year.

Its just typical dumb Koreans trying to ease the pain of knowing that even "poor backwards China" slaughtered them like cattle 50 years ago, use half their country as a nuclear waste dump site and can repeat it any time.
