China aims to capture Arunachal Pradesh/Southern Tibet in next 10-15 years

.
That time will never come ..
You mark my words, China will one day.
India can never win a two-front war against Pakistan and China.

Ayub Khan was foolish not to take advantage of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. It was an opportunity lost, otherwise, Pakistan would have all of Kashmir by now.

Well you can also mark my words. Chinese fighting capabilities were exposed last year at LAC/Ladhak. They are not ready for real fight.
Their SOP is sign agreement, build trust, when everything is fine, backstab and make a surprise attack.

LOL :disagree: China humiliated India in 1962, and China can do it again.

India is in a way inferior position to China.

Don't even compare. China will soon become the world's largest economy.
China already has the largest GDP PPP, and hopefully soon by Nominal GDP.
China has a technological superiority when compared to India. :P

As for my country Pakistan, we had leaders like Ayub Khan. If it wasn't for his incompetence we would have had All of Kashmir liberated by now.

Most alluring point is that Indians' views about the fighting will and capability of Chinese were exactly the same, before the war of 1962, not only in public sphere, but also at political and official levels. That was, in fact, the basis of "Forward Policy" of Nehru, which entailed armed incursions into China-held Aksai Chin area........ and then they were thoroughly thrashed.

Exactly, China is a far more powerful enemy to India.

India cannot even stand up to Pakistan, which has less land and human resources as well.

Though, in comparison with 1962, I find a difference. While common Indian is as chest-thumping and deluded, as at that time; their leadership and decision makers know, in their hearts, that they are not in a position to fight China. They are aware that they would be screwed like hell, in case of a war. So, in contrast with pre-1962, they are following a very cautious and timid policy. Modi knows that his @$$hole would be dilated from 56" to 560", if it came to a war with China.

Comparing us to India is like a slap on our face. If India really ask for it, we'll crush them with one hand tied behind our back.

Unfortunately, unlike their common chest-thumping Tom, Dick and Harry, their political and military leadership is fully aware of it. They haven't forgotten the nightmare of 1962.

In my opinion negotiations will not resolve issues like the Kashmir dispute or the South Tibet issue. Otherwise these disputes would have been resolved by now.

Because those Hindutva idiots see those disputes as a "clash of civilizations" battle between Muslims in Kashmir and China in South Tibet.
There will be another regional war to resolve those issues.

But I am waiting when Pakistan and China are ready, then they will pound on the weakling that India is.

Those puny bases are just from old times. They do not project any real power.

not everyone is the US or China, those bases holding a dozen Rafael or typhoon and a naval task force is a serious threat to most countries in the world, and they have bases all over the world.

So does Spanish in Latin America, so whats your point.

yes, and that's why spanish is a recognized UN official language. so as you can see it does give them a bunch of influence. so why isnt spain a P5 member? because spain does not have the power projection that the french and british do nor the complete military industrial complex. remember you need influence AND hard power+ability to project it to important areas.

At the end, its about money. Germany and Japan can amp up its military power in a decade if they so desire. They both have ample money for it.

yet they haven't done so, we're talking about real power, not what they could be or should be or potentially will be doing with their money, because the point is, they haven't done so. and facts remain that they are nearly fully dependent on others for protection and most of their military tech and because of this lack of military independence and power projection, they are merely a side show to the power behind them, namely the US. This is also why the late Qing dynasty of china wasn't a superpower, it was the richest nation on earth(total GDP-wise) yet it did not spend to modernize its military.

I did not mean to cause offense.
India is far behind China, technologically and economically as well.

India has two powerful enemies: Pakistan and China.

When China was made P5 member, it had neither the influence nor power projection ability far from its shores.

That is because China was one of the winners of World War 2.
United Nations will never be reformed.
The countries in the UNSC don't want to lose their prestigious positions.
