Indian ocean and in Pacific ocean at best you have no significant friend or foe in both side of Atlantic ocean and last USN and Royal navy always will have a eyes if you enter Atlantic Ocean so you will become useless if you can't sail freely in Atlantic

China doesn't need to have naval power presence in Atlantic.
Naval supremacy could mean the very strong naval power competing or even surpassing USN.
Yes China should be able to project her naval power to Atlantic or any sea on earth, but not necessarily be stationed there.

Chinese shipyards are busy in so many military and civilian ship building projects as well as various maintenance and upgrade programs, you want to overburden Chinese shipyard capabilities???

Yes 2035 is right time frame but not for your 7-10 ACs but 5-6 ACs

I think the first "proper" carrier that China is building is the current one and that will not be into service till the late 2020s.

By 2035 expect at most another 2 slightly larger nuclear aircraft carriers comparable to the US Ford Class at 100,000 tonnes and EMALs.

Type 003 probably in same league with latest USS Ford class. The dimension is almost similar, hence the tonnage could be almost the same also.

If type 003 turn out to be nuclear powered, China doesnt need another slightly larger nuclear AC type 004 anytime in this or coming decade.

As I said it is not about sea coverage, it is about parity with US Naval power.

LOL. Shipyard is not a very complex system like a chip fab. What make you think it has to take that long 5 years to finish a shipyard? With massive resource China can build it fast; replicating Jiangnan shipyard including the manpower doesn't take that long. And even if it takes 5 year to have additional large shipyard, having 10 super carrier up to 2035 is still achievable.

And even if it takes 5 year to have additional large shipyard, this still will enable China to have up to 10 super carrier up to 2035.

Shipyard projects is not as easy project as you thinks go ask some Naval base or shipyard building comapny or read the article of Shipyard on Wikipedia then you will have a guess shipyards are complex or not and 10 carriers is useless and over expenditure for PLAN to sail these carrier battle groups in just only Indian and pacific oceans it will be waste of resources

Chinese navy has J-11BH fighter jets and J-15 fighter jets which are way bigger than F-18. Plus, Chinese navy has KJ-500H AWACs which are way bigger than E-2. Chinese naval aviation is unparalledl in the world.

means big RCS and don't you know E-2D capability almost same as your KJ-500H or even better

Yes I do. I am not saying making shipyard is easy, I am saying shipyard is not a complex system like chip fab, understand the difference.

You know, many developing country can make shipyard. My country Indonesia can, and have many shipyard made by ourself. In the meantime, only some advance country can make chip fab, because it involve complex system and stages, and precision equipment with most frontier tech.

Shipyard is only a civil engineering stuff, a place for making ship, yes it is very large but not quite complex.
The challenge to build carrier is not with the shipyard, but with the complexity of the carrier itself that make the design and construct the ship is challenging.

And being detected first nigger doesn't guarantee that you have a better range, IC and processor fabrication technologies has enough miniaturization capacity to make radar/AESA with almost of better than J-15 AESA
