China: a force fit for a superpower

Now many Chinese posters must have understood, why many people in this forum compare china to Nazi Germany,do u know what matter's more, its all about the attitude.

It the same reason why people in the forum says u will receive the same thrash received by Nazi Germany.

nazis wake up one morning thinking that they can conquer the world with one blink of the eye,the bottom line is that they failed to understand that they tried to chew more than what they can digest.

U already had a gargantuan nemesis whose name start with U,dont add more and more more alphabets,it will create such a complication that will make it even difficult to survive.

Alpha, you are right! Actually, many Chinese posters here are students, they have too much time to surf internet, their is a say, don't mind what children say, the don't understand the real thing, also don't stand for most Chinese people.

if the right wings show some statistical evidence and stop behaving like traitors (because their arguments that left wings are the real traitors is completely laughable) then we may stop looking down on them. until then all hatred towards them is totally justified. remember what they said? "J-20 is PSed", then it moved, so they said "J-20 is just a wooden model!" then it flew so they said "J-20 is towed by a helicopter!" then we saw it land so they said "So what, USA can kick its ***!" then Gates starts getting defensive and they say "So what if it's a good plane! When can I buy a house!" then when people say that home ownership in China is over 70% they say "So what! US has freedom!" and when people say the faults of the US they just start saying "stupid 支那 pigs, you're all 愤愤, 傻逼, 支那猪的素质真低!” “小白!” then when you insult them back, they have the guts to say ”只不过证明了你们支那人的素质之低下!” you seem to be one of those people that think 众人皆醉我独醒, that you're so superior, right?

Thankyou for proving my point.

Hitler was a dictator with absolute power. The president of china has far less power than the president of the US. The premier, the military, large state enterprises, rest of politburo, disciplinary committee, public opinion, all balance the president's power. Even if a crazy became president, he would either be powerless or removed quickly. The risk of the US becoming more like Nazi Germany than it is now is significantly higher than China, due to the higher concentration of power in the hands of 1 person.
That is a lie. And everyone knows it.

It got pretty close with Bush. Obongo is more sane, he knows how to chill like a real brotha' from da hood. just takes 1 misjudgment by Wall Street sharks and the US will become the next Nazi Germany.

Nothing you said support your implication that the US can make any President a dictator. A US President cannot make laws. He can only sign a proposal, call a 'bill', into a law. That alone render any US President at the mercy of the Congress. So lay off whatever opinions you may have of any personality figure and Wall Street financiers and show everyone your evidences as to how the US political institutions are favorable to a dictatorship. Else you are nothing more than a liar.

In case you forgot, China won as a member of the allies while Republic of India didn't even exist.

In case you forgot, India is the country that talks about being "Aryan." Not China, which is a completely different culture and civilization from Germany.

Are you trying to imply India is just like UK or USA? Because they defeated Nazi Germany? LOL.... where is your colonial empire, India. Wakey-wakey... you are the slaves, not the colonialists. And you keep comparing yourself to colonialists every chance you get.

That is just so not cool~~ chill out man~~
shouldn't imply anyone as slaves.
and honestly...China isn't any better back then.
also, referring a nation as slaves does no good in a discussion.

the president can do several things that do not involve laws whatsoever. as far as i know no president can make a law.

1.) what you said, propose law
2.) executive orders
3.) can command the military without declaring war
4.) can declare martial law
5.) can suspend civil rights

众人皆醉我独醒

I love this phrase, which is a very vivid description of those who believe they know everything about China better than us just because they are not living in China.

Then your knowledge is sorely lacking...

President drops plan to rule by decree - Americas, World - The Independent
The Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa has backed off the idea of dissolving Congress and ruling by decree and plans to revise an austerity law that triggered a bloody police revolt.
To 'rule by decree' is effectively making up laws as the President goes. Venezuelan legislators recently approved Hugo Chavez the power to 'rule by decree', essentially making him a dictator.

Every single item listed have Constitutional restraints and Congressional oversight. Other than war, none of them support your charge that the US is a single step away from becoming a dictatorship. You are still a liar. But we know this is not the first nor second nor nth time you got busted.

Irony is that you guys can't see it even when you are using it... BTW,can you find China on the map? :smitten:

Constitutional restraints? Did that restrain Johnson from an undeclared war in Vietnam, unapproved by Congress, where US bombs and chemical weapons killed 4 million people and maimed 10s of millions? Where victims of chemical weapons are still found to this day?

Presidents, as in presidents that actually serve for office terms and leave office when its over, not "presidents" who are actually hereditary dictators.

Undeclared war? You mean like the one China waged against Viet Nam in the same one you are referring about?

Presidents, as in presidents that actually serve for office terms and leave office when its over, not "presidents" who are actually hereditary dictators.
And how often does this happens in the US?
