The F-16 is the jet that they have been covering for decades because they know full well the capabilities of that jet with PAF piloting it.

I get it, the ACM wants Jets, Trainers, Transport planes..., but you make it sound as if the US will suddenly just cough up the money they've owed us all along just because their President thinks IK is a swell guy.

Nope. You want something, better pay for it (in full). Maybe a deal could come in play to reduce the cost from Lockheed Martin, but that's just about it.

The deal will stay the same as it did a few years back for the 08 F-16's that were approved by Congress, but never materialized.

It was due to Dar who refused to pay remaining money not sure but I Beleive was 330 million something but Dar has 700 millions for media houses. I read written by Harris khan about those 8 jetts LM was even said we build and park those planes at azzeros U pay and pick ur plane but Dar refused.
