Firebrand VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi on Tuesday unleashed a fresh controversy by saying those who do not chant 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram' have no right to live in the country.
While addressing a religious gathering at Bahraich district in UP, she said, "Those who do not chant, 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', 'Vande Mataram', insult the national flag and those indulge in cow slaughter have no right to live in India."

She also said those having more than two children should be barred from casting votes.

"A law should be framed to scrap the voting rights of such people irrespective of the religion," said Sadhvi Prachi.

She had earlier kicked up a storm by saying that if persons of other community produce 40-50 children, then Hindus should also raise four children.

I don't know why some people want to have the privileges of being Indian but disassociate themselves from the entire culture of the land.

The statement is without any sugarcoating.

It sounds crude but is very rational.

Not singing it all the time themselves is okay which no one does; but all Indians respect Vande Mataram just like our national anthem and those who don't, don't consider themselves Indian by heart.

They just want freebies and freedoms for their convenience.

(a). a faith whose core belief bars the age-old anti-human practice of extracting interests upon loans... not having adopted this belief has contributed to half of india's tag as "suicide capital".

(b). groups who propagate scientifically-observable progressive human values, with various degrees.

(c). literary and film industry groups that since long has contributed to india becoming cosmopolitan and worldly-wise.

(d). age-old poets and revolutionaries, who observable scientifcally, have been real contributors.

you must ensure that such categories be highlighted as real contributors, as against parasites who use religion, traditions, economics to forward anti-human ideas.

You will keep repeating this mistake if you try to extrapolate Abrahamic religions behaviors on to Hindu civilization. Hindus, Buddhists, Jains were not at war, neither intra-religious or interreligious. Indian culture is the same from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. There are just mild regional flavors to them. Abrahamic religions will be at war because it exists on the philosophy of "the other." Indic religions do not have an other in-built in their theologies to go to war with them. A person changing his faith to an Abrahamic religion imbibes the concept of the other and feels compelled to attack the other, who in our case in India is the Hindu. So culture, religion, and nationalism are all closely interlinked.
