Chakwal lands another blow to PTI’s popularity
From the Newspaper | A Correspondent
CHAKWAL, Aug 29: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) popularity graph is fast declining in Chakwal as young workers and leaders have started to quit to show their disapproval of Imran Khan’s policies.

On Sunday two young leaders Chaudhry Mohsin Ali Khan and Asad Ali Shah left the party along with scores of supporters.
A second blow came on Tuesday when influential politician Raja Sanaul Haq also announced his decision to leave the party during a press conference, along with several of his associates.

Raja Sana attributes his decision to join PTI to the Minar-i-Pakistan show.

“The Minar-i-Pakistan show really impressed me and I thought that Imran Khan would really bring change, but as time went on Khan Sahib – who appeared to be a man of principles – became involved in power politics, which has really disappointed me,” he said.

He further said: “Khan Sahib used to claim that he would not develop into a dirty politician like Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, whom he has now allied with.”

Raja Sana is a close relative of current Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, who is his younger brother Raja Azeem’s father-in-law.

He said he was offered the slot of adviser to prime minister which he refused in order to stay with PTI.

He said that he joined PTI despite the opposition of his family members because PTI emerged as a sole ray of hope for the
country’s future. “Previous politicians did not bring any change and they are now in the front rows of PTI.”

Raja Sana began his political career under the PPP banner during Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s era and switched to PML-N in the early nineties. He then quit PML-N and joined PTI. Sources have informed Dawn that he will re-join PPP soon.

Their loss..
IK is still the most trust worthy politician in Pakistan..

In the run up to the elections, we will see people people leaving the party. Those who leave joined for their vested interests and if they dont see their objectives being met, they will leave.

Imran is still untested so he has his credibilty intact. This process is helping in identifying lotas.

Dear,

Do you honestly believe that these "workers" were capable to understandings any policy, let alone political one ?

These are usually school dropouts, who couldn't go further than a metriculation certificate had it not been for political patronage.

For Noora Leaguers and PPP walas, it might be a great news. The country they rule will remain in the state despair and hopelessness. For its these leaders who want to keep this nation fending for themselves and confused so that their family mafia rule continues and prosper.

Excellent, above showed frustration is a good omen for all democratic forces; Pakistan would only be truly independent once we restrict our establishment’s role purely within the boundaries of constitution, Democracy will flourish and evolve maturity only when establishment sincerely accepts its supremacy and stop its flirting attitude with it through its agents.

Consistency of Civilian supremacy in all policy and decision making aspects is the only way forwards for Pakistan.

The munafiqeen used to do this to the prophet SAW. Join him in the mornng and leave in the evening to show that there is nosubstance in his teaching. If Imran Khan is true to his word his time will come if not now 5-10 years from now. the struggle must go on.
