bro, is it possible for a person to self-teach basic programming?
Yes, the best programmers are self-taught. A lot of people who have software companies are self-taught. You don't need a teacher. You need to do the actual work.

@rmi5 @atatwolf do you know the name of this actor and actress.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Haha, I remember watching this movie with my grand parents couple of times. This scene was always the best :) The actor's name I don't know but probably others will know.

Marketing major bro. With supply chain management thrown in. Obviously I have great plans for the future (no I really don't)

But I think a bit of programming would help a lot in this digitised world.

Are you also looking for learning programming in databases like SQL.

.
Yup, after all, we are all considered as cyborg animals in 21st century. So it's hard to imagine not knowing programming in some extent.

plus, you never know. What if I want to become an entrepreneur? Having technological proficiency can greatly help me out there.

A lot of future marketing will take place in the digital space. I am just trying to upgrade myself since compared to the other youngsters, I am actually a bit of a dinosaur.

C# works with .net framework and .net is not an open source unlike Java. If you want to learn website design, you can also try PHP programming using WAMP or LAMP, in my view its the easiest framework to learn design a website.

In the future most things are going to be computerized. Already a lot of jobs are gone because of computers and in the future it will only be more. Electronics and robotics is developing very fast and we are going towards a technology economy. Learning a computer language is a good skill to have.

That's fine, in India IT and Pharma are two major employers. For IT one need to be proficient in English and programming languages. Most of the students learn programming to increase prospects of getting recruited.

You can refer to the website www.w3schools.com to learn basic of any programming language, the lessons are very easy and nice. I used WAMP for learning PHP you can download it free, basically three languages HTML(front view), PHP coding and MySQL(to store and retrieve your values from databases) and also CSS and javascript all are easy. you will get all of tutorials of w3schools.
