If an attack can take place in the middle of a military parade, and soldiers lay down on the ground or runing instead of figthing; then lethal result is inevitable.

The attacker(s) sent an ironic and lethal message due to weakness of the security measures in the ''military'' parade.

Sad for civilians.

Well it was strategically placed on a very emotional time 10 muharam
and Targeting civilians and unarmed military units a true cowardly act

As a Sunni Muslim , I still respect Hussein greatly and feel this attack on Iran on this particular time frame act of Yazidi forces of evil. The Spirit of Hussain's struggle is worth remembering for standing up against aggressors

Muharram is a very emotional month for many Muslims

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday, referring to the war between the two Middle Eastern powers and vowing that Tehran will not abandon its missiles.

As Rouhani spoke, Iran began displaying its naval power in the Gulf during annual parades in the capital Tehran and the port of Bandar Abbas on the Gulf marking the start of the country’s war with Iraq.

Iran has suggested in recent weeks that it could take military action in the Gulf to block other countries’ oil exports in retaliation for US sanctions intended to halt its sales of crude.

Washington maintains a fleet in the Gulf that protects oil shipping routes.

Rouhani said in a speech carried live by state television.

"Iran will not abandon its defensive weapons ... including its missiles.

State media said about 600 vessels took part in the Gulf naval drill on Saturday, a day after Iran held aerial exercises in the waterway, vowing that a "pounding reply" awaited the country's enemies.

A stronger Iran will emerge from this cowardly attack on peaceful people at their own parade in their own country

This area is already majority non-arab. But this attack will force to settle more Persians and bakhtiari lurs there. Security of borders and unity of Iran is a red line.

LOL at desperate trolls in this thread. They are celebrating deaths of Iranians.

This attack was most probably carried out by a failed terrorist outfit ASMLA. They have been trying to punch above their weight for past few years with small level terrorist attacks here and there that were unnoticed. Their foreign funded leader was neutralized in Nederlands by Iranian intelligence few months ago. But they have signed their literal death warrants this new attack. Expect Precision Ballistic Missile strikes on their camps.

This awaits them wherever they are. I hope this time IRGC uses unconventional warheads on BM's.

These groups have no camps, probably they are no more than 50 persons. So a clear target like a camp is not available. Only answer Iran can give is to their backers.

At the same time Iran should completely and radically change the demographic map of the region there to end their fantasy once and for all. Spend Iranian money on attracting Iranians from all of Iran into khuzistan, especially ahwaz and border cities. Ahwaz has 35,7% arabs. All the cities near the border should have less than 10% arabs. As long as arabic is spoken in Iran, isis members and separatist can sneak in or hide between Iranian arabs, making abuse of demography and languages in khuzistan province. So Iran should work towards ending this foreign/alien language in Iran and changing the demography of this region. This will be a more effective and peaceful measure.

The real objective of this move to stir the sectarian divide in region
Take the conflict away from Israel borders to further areas like Iran/UAE/iRAQ

Israel is feeling a bit uneasy with Turkey/Syria/Russia on it's door steps and Iran also there for Humanitarian mission

The PKK areas on north Syria are a touble spot for Iran and best thing for Iran would be to militarily take over that region

It wasn’t some sophisticated attack. Military outfits can be bought anywhere, even in Iraq. Iraq is filled with guns from dealers as well.

3-4 terrorists managed to slip past porous security because again the security forces probably didn’t expect an attack on a military parade.

The last 2 years or so have begun to show major flaws in Iran’s security intelligence apparatus.

Head of Intelligence MInistry should be summoned to Majils and be intervened about how he missed this plot. Given that he routinely “brags” of how many plots his ministry has foiled.
