Big numbers of JF-17 Thunder is the solution for the entire Indian Air Force fleet.

Indian Air Force has nothing in their inventory that can outclass Pakistani Air Force.

If I was to go by (just) your assessment that the B-Variant was platform for Training Pilots, then in my opinion that ship has already sailed a decade too late. 8 Delivered & another double-digit being handed over this year seems...unconventional for an Air Force where our boys just hop into a JF-17 & get airborne without even seeing a Trainer Variant of the JF-17.
?
Going by what I know first hand, PAF does need the Brave-versions, for immediately increasing number of pilot-trainees for the platform.

Meteor answer is PL 15 but what will be PAF answer to Rafale then?

J-10C, modified to carry more PL-15s along with AESA Radars. That is the best available option which neither the indians or those turd americans can do anything about to block or sanction.

China has the technological advances, Pakistan has actual air-war experience. Together with China, the J-10C can be made more lethal than it already is. Pakistan Air Force can work with China and CAC to customize J-10C with sensor fused avionics. There some important areas which Pakistan can and will have to focus on with J-10C. The first being it's engine, which needs to have an acceleration rate that is comparable to Rafales. In terms of avionics, this is a very important area which needs some work in depth. With an "Integrated EW Suite" Pakistan Air Force can achieve parity to the french Rafales.

Pakistan Air Force's J-10Cs with AESA, Advance EW Suite, Sensor fused avionics and a powerful engine can deliver a knockout blow to the indian Air Force.

Then there is also the case of integrating the J-10Cs into Pakistan Air Force's "Air War Doctrine." Apart from that, there is also the case of managing induction of new war fighting assets. All this while the integration of Block-lll Thunders is already ongoing. Buying a new type of combat aircraft is one thing. Establishing the necessary eco-system for the new asset in terms aircraft maintenance, training manual, equipment, servicing, developing combat strategies is a completely different ball game.

Improved, customized. J-10C with AESA, PL-15, ADV-EW Suite, Higher Rated Engine and in numbers equal to or more than that of F-16s is necessary. Vipers are amazing, but they're deadly to Pakistan, A.K.A "American Sanctions!!"

But supersonic CM 400AKG has a ballistic trajectory and easy to intercept. Problem lies in detection and interception. Imagine a scenario where MKIs launch ALCM Brahmos and they hit our place having an importance. Since no capable air defense is there to intercept Supersonic ALCM from our side, they hit their targets and we plan the similar attack. We use RA'AD IIs on our Mirages/Thunders and within our boundary release the ALCM. IAF AWACs detects the ALCM and sends the signals to the air defense. Imagine the target is Mumbai or Dehli the air defense which includes NASAM II and S400 (as they would be gaurding important strategic locations) are alerted through AWAC and the ALCM is detected due to alertness and is intercept quickly. How is this not possible?
@HRK @Dazzler @airomerix @Hodor @Bratva

Do you think that in hostile situation Pakistan will not be monitoring situation in Indian air space??

Our sensors will pic any missile which India will launch and Brahmos is no exception.

@Caprxl

Thanks for the tag. Indecisions of the paf has put pakistan between a rock and a hard place.

The Blk 3 yet needs to go thru integration. I pray we are not talking about blk3 integration in 3-5 years from now that it is incomplete.

There's zero indication of PAF using JF-17Bs as anything but training pilots for the platform, asap. All of this growler talk is just via online media. It's only about JF-17 Block III that we know will come with a brand new integrated EW suite.

Do think that Pakistan will eventually have to opt for new-gen stand off ground and airborne EW assets. Whether it's Koral or Havasoj or any of the multitude of chinese options, but EW will eventually decide future of these skirmish-type air wars b/w India and Pak.

Pakistan does field a lot of passive sigint capability to ID enemy aircrafts, but these solutions do not provide firing cues. The testing of JY-27A in Pakistan is extremely interesting in this regard, cos the radar apparently does provide firing cues as per Chinese papers.

All JFT-Bs block-2 will be B-3 standard ASAP, and EW bird is in consideration since long as PAF can not induct J-16 EW bird.

. . . .
paf has put pakistan between a rock and a hard place.

Hope CAS & his team do not repeat the same mistake again, I wish you are wrong, your fears, all of our fears be for nothing. CAS should be knowing the burden of his statement and the responsibility.

Oh really?
Whats our Rafale's anwer? JF 17 Blk 3?? Are we seriously comparing a medium weight fighter with our light weight fighter?
What about India inducting more Mig29UPGs+SU 30 MKIs+Tejas?
We are just inducting JF 17s thats too in limited numbers
Ok What about SU 30MKI and Brahmos Super sonic ALCM with range b/w 450-600km?
We dont have a Supersonic ALCM

What about Mig29UPGs+SU 30 MKIs+Tejas which are being inducted?

I just dont understand this logic, the one in bold. I mean why there is always an excuse that our is a light weight fighter. What if our light-weight is confronted with a medium-weight ? so we'll ask it to send some light-weight for the fight or ask it to wait till we return with our big brother ?

Having said that, i believe, weight category is just there to carry more ammunition and fuel, the rest has to match else the jet is useless if it can't confront all jets of the inventory. And i believe PAF won't be hiding behind the excuse that its a light-weight. I believe they very much trust Jeff and its capabilities. And i also believe that Rafale is going to b another su30 of India.

We have this habit of underestimating our abilities and Indians have the tendency to over-estimate their abilities. They after watching their own movies, starts believing in them and considers themselves as Shakti-man and we also watch their movies and starts believing in their propaganda.

Pak needs F16 s blk 72 along V upgrades with rest of fleet along AIM120 D. BLK 3 and F16s V and 72 are good to deal Rafale with PL15 AIM120 D

Things have changed since then, Sweden has sold us other military equipment so Gripens shouldnt be a problem. We should try and geipenull ToT out of it like they offered others in the past.
Sweds are desperate to sell gripens but with GE engine long shot for PAF is F16 s

. .
actually it makes sense now Air power will be used in small localised conflicts like in feb.. 20 Typhoons will give edge in these scenarios
My wish list till 2030 which can counter IAF .
F16 + aim120c/d ( upgraded to V) = 100
JFT blck 3 ( upgraded 1 & 2) = 200
JFT blck 4 ( 5gen DNA of project azm) = 50
EF t3 + Meteor / or Su35 = 36
First flight of 5gen project azm around 2028 .

All JFT-Bs block-2 will be B-3 standard ASAP, and EW bird is in consideration since long as PAF can not induct J-16 EW bird.
J16 is lethal 4.5 gen but heard have some issues with engine

.
To overcome India in the EW/SIGINT domain PAF can look into the following Turkish systems developed or at various stages of development:
