Found this to be a missing topic as all the other similar threads are too old and dead.
Let’s talk about cars, accidents, technologies, preferences, would-love-to own cars and sh*tty car industry in Pakistan.

This is my daily 3hrs commuter for some years and I diagnose, repair and service it myself .. well majority of it. Mercedes are the easiest cars to work on, as long one has the diagnostic MB Star (or clone) of it to hand. Hate working on BMW, nightmare those are!

Touching 200,000 miles and going strong after a bit of the suspension overhaul. Will run it to ground and buy the next model up to do the same.

Many years ago I was into modifying and racing DOHC VTEC Hondas and RX7.

In Adventure Biking now ..

nothing more than car tuning/modification. i want to develop my own(a cheap one obviously), similar to ones offered by megasquirt. I know how to extract data from CAN bus on my own , will learn how to write to it. next step would be to somehow reverse engineer an ECU.

For me anything that's all-wheel drive and off-road capable is my king of car

I hate sports cars; too expensive, can only drive on smooth paved roads thus limited terrain capability even in city environments (potholes, curbs, etc), constant worry about damage to the slightest thing, also ideal targets for theft compared to other type of cars, too fast and gas guzzlers.

according to who? JDM sponsort customer question pool like JD power ranking were Toyota is the biggest sponsor?

JD power ranking is a powerfull tool of Toyota to polish their brand

Most funny part the scooring different between the brands and models are minimal... counted in problems per 100 car...and oh oh oh...there is not a SINGLE car company that has less than 100problems per 100 vehicles in the first 3 years... not Lexus not Toyota not Porsche... From 1th place to 14th place (above industry standart you have between 106 to 136 problems) from 15th to last place from 137 to 249 problems per 100 vehicles...
