you are welcome. it is always better to be realistic rather then comparing apples and oranges. we pakistanis have this ancient habit that we start comparing our things with the rest of the world despite the obvious differences. we do have some places that are quite unique but comparing korangi with caribbean ......thori zada ho gae hay. still is a nice effort for the locals but the quality of the water is no where near to caribbean or maldives (realistically speaking). still if you want to call it caribbean it's your choice.

So what next....there are no sun soaked bikini clad bodies present in Korangi like in the Caribbeans.
Do you know Dubai once was just a fishing village, people use to disembark in Karachi and catch a boat to reach Dubai.
No one is claiming that we have the beaches or infrastructure to call it a sunny paradise but one needs to appreciate the intuitive of creating something different but for that you need to see the glass as half full.

my friend he is right, the real attraction of caribbean is the water, crystal clear and blue, and beeches not the shacks. Korangi creek has the worst coastline, its actually keechar and smells real bad. this could have been better in hawks bat or sands pit area.

i mentioned that it is a good effort for the locals but comparing it with caribbean is injustice with carribean.

The water quality at Karachi is beyond toxic, do the extent that it has required relocation of PN assets!!
This is due to a massive smorgasboard of illiterate and willfully ignorant activities including dumping of chemical waste, sewage, trash and even the dump from KANUPP that goes into the sea. Then we had the oil tanker a few years ago.

However, that does not mean that it is beyond redemption just yet.
One way is to create water circulation and start cleanup around the area... but these are for educated, enlightened and honest peoples and nations.. so no...Pakistanis are screwed.


Im not too fond of DHA golf club, I did a study for them to renovate and integrate the abandoned Carlton hotel into their Creek club but later found out millions were exchanged for nothing except lining brass pockets.
