Cardiac arrest Bangladesh’s No 1 killer in 2020: BBS

But rest of time go strict with your Diet and Exercise.
I believe that Allah gave us foods as gift. You should exercise to avoid such disease I think.

Also some natural thing like garlic ,onion will help preventing disease, as they clear cholesterol.

Nowadays we are becoming more dependent on medicine ,that's why we are unhealthy.

There are lots of people who eat such foods but also do exercise and remain healthy.

Besides everyday drinking of aloe Vera Juice or snakeroot juice and some other stuffs can control cholesterol.
All are natural and pure,so no side effects like drugs.

So if we can reduce heavy dependency on modern medicine and keep taking natural stuffs alongside food we will remain healthy.

But no reason not to eat such food daily at least one time if they can afford.

For exercise , yes . Strict died, big NO! But yes avoiding sugar is better no doubt.
I agree . Lots of sweets mean lots of sugar. But beef is never ever an issue if you can maintain your life style.

I think people should exercise regularly. If you can exercise regularly you will digest everything.

Look at the people who work hard ( physically) , they have less disease.

They even don't get extra fat. they eat huge amount of bhaat but remain healthy.

So yes exercise is the key to remain healthy.
The vast majority of Bangladeshis live an active lifestyle. Sedentary lifestyle is common among the middle and upper class who are a tiny minority and mostly live in cities.

The cities have too many options to eat out.

While workout is very important, you cannot out work a bad diet.

Our food habit is mostly responsible for the untimely death of many people because of heart problems. Many are due to diabetes. Eating too much beef and sweets, and not taking raw vegetables seems to be fun in BD and the schools do not also teach how to maintain one's health.

So, it is not a sin to eat a full stomach up to one's throat. Potbelly is common among even people in their 20s.
So potbelly is common among our people and even in their 20s?

Did you come from the planet mars?
I think @bluesky Is referring to youth in the middle and upper class.

A link from the Internet says about the bad effects of eating beef.

"An accumulated body of evidence shows a clear link between high intake of red and processed meats and a higher risk for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and premature death. "The evidence is consistent across different studies."

Here, red meat means beef.

But to South Asians 'Rasna' (taste/flavor) is everything.

but yes, that is true. flavour>>>health. our mentality is "here for a good time, not a long time."

It's all diet. If they laid off the fat and oils they'd be so healthy.

But to South Asians 'Rasna' (taste/flavor) is everything.
Subcontinent people eat food which is high in Fat, Carb and Sugar. Plus they don't do much exercises except running some errands especially City Dwellers. People in villages are eating much healthy food and doing lot of physical work which burns the Carb and Sugar.

USA has most obesity in the world and they eat a lot since food is so readily available with Buffets style Restaurants but some of them do lot of exercises like Gyms, Cycling and walking for miles and that group of people have less of these issues as compare to other group which are couch potatoes, so heart diseases and Diabetes are a big killer in USA. One doesn't has to be Obese to get these diseases, someone slim can have the same underlying issues as obese people.

Yeah US folks who are well within weight limits are getting heart attacks because their arteries are clogged with cholesterol and plaque. They're called "skinny fat" in local slang lingo.
