Use bicycle or electric scooters/bikes. There is an upside to this. Less fossil fuel-run vehicles, fewer carbon emissions into the atmosphere and better environment, healthy people.

Use public transport and car pooling services. I am personally using the new bus pooling service launched in Lahore lately. Taking a break from driving in the in insane Lahore traffic; I get to my office feeling fresh.

I have been through what common Pakistanis goes through every day like hanging from public transport and stuff. The alternatives I mentioned are affordable for lower-income people and have their benefits. Everyone wants a ride with an engine these days so where will this lead? There is too much pollution and noise in big cities. Switching from bicycle to motorcycle and from motorcycle to a car is doing us more harm than good. We have to be responsible citizens.

Below are the electric bikes available in Pakistan. Prices are between PKR 150,000 - 200,000. Not everyone can afford a decent car worth PKR 2 million++ but I am sure many can afford these bikes. There are other options too. For women, I would say it is better to use these than being groped and pushed around in public transport.
