KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party’ (PPP) Central Executive Committee (CEC) conditioned their resignations from the national assembly with the return of PML-N Supremo former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday.

The CEC chaired by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari decided that they would not resign from their seats in the assemblies with the condition of Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

“Nawaz Sharif should come and join our movement against the PTI government and then they will resign from the assembles,” the CEC was quoted as saying by the sources.

Not a surprise and as expected. Why in the world PPP will resign from their seats for PMLN and JUI. Leaving Sindh provincial govt and Senate, will practically means PTI will have a free hand in removing or atleast changing 18th amendment all together. It will be a political suicide for PPP to resign now.

As far as statement regarding Nawaz return is concerned, well it was deliberately missing in press release by PPP but indirectly message was given to the PMLN by PPP through media leaks.
