A very nice video, an excellent example of an informative video. Regarding the cannon, one can't deny the data. Well I was pro-cannon guy but now (especially after 2/27), I think it would be more efficient in terms of fighting capability to equip the jet with two more missiles weighing about the same as cannon and it ammo, for A2A engagements. podded cannon option, the way it is now should always be available for A2G roles.

I am sure that after watching this video---all superstars would be satisfied about why the cannon is not needed---why the original F4 Phantoms had no cannon---after the cannon was mounted---.

Was there any difference in the kill ratio after the cannon was mounted---what did the north vietnamese pilots use to shoot down american aircraft---.

What increased the kill ratio of the american aircraft---?

You will also be surprised to learn that all the vietnamese kills were thru air to air missiles during the vietnam war---.

I did some time ago but let us say CAS, use against insurgents, FOBs close does not take much to get in WVR and have no have fuel but run out of missiles and either can run or fight.
