Canada pulls back from interim Super Hornet purchase

I would agree. From the few times I've seen Canadian pilots fly their CF-18's, they were impressive.

Couple of years ago this fella put on one heck of a show, just as good as the USN pilots do with the Super Hornet.

So which one is it, same quality or far better? :-)
I think far better or at par with half of a flying cost and it can carry more weapons than hornet better all around package with little cost and lot gain

I'll give you flying cost, as the Gripen's in at a little under $8K per hour and the Super Hornet's cost is at $13K p/h, but what's $5K amongst friends, anyway?

But more weapons how? Gripen has 7 hardpoints while the SH has 8 with the ability to double up on certain munitions per pylon. Here's a F/A-18A carrying 10 AIM-120's and 2 AIM-9s. :-)
