Can you shake hands with local girls if you travel in Pakistan?

Depends on who is shaking the hand? :D

On serious note* not in Pakistani culture.

Kyun behan ke character pe fatwa lagwana hai l?

I did not make any comment regarding the question in hand. I do not speak for the women. That is why i tagged the ladies.
Secondly as far as fatwa go. A woman may put the fatwa faster than a man in this regard.

Dramay nahi dekhti tum hahahahaha

Don’t trigger women. :butcher:

It's your type of thinking that makes India plain sick. Yeh, why not just take all the steps to rape, no inhibitions and full on syphilis and AIDS.
Sad third world thinking.

Mentally sick are the rapists from the rape capital of the world.

Agree, rapists are the scum anywhere in the world and need to be exterminated and also those so called men who think women are their property and set rules on how they should live. They should kill themselves.

Why rape is such a big part of your culture... everyday newspapers are full ?

@Sharky, you guys not only rape 4-month old girls and even a 100-years old woman is not safe
100 year old woman raped in India
So once you get your in order, then go lecturer anyone else till then fcuk off to your slums..

if you are a foreigner and you offer a hand shake you wont get in any trouble, but don't take it personally if you hand shake is refused.

Yes you are. And no you are not. Kt depends on
Exactly, most of the females in my extended family are highly educated through some of the best schools and hold professional degrees like MBBS, BA Architecture, Masters in various sciences, IT etc but none will shake hands with na-mahrams and the same is true for most of my friends and their families though I have a few who are too liberal..
Same here, doctors n phds yet na mehram concept drilled into brain.

Let the ladies of the Forum answer this i believe

I'm doing my higher education in the UK. Shaking hands with the opposite gender is not a part of Pakistani culture. When I was less practicing then I didn't use to mind shaking hands. Since practicing Islam and observing the hijab, I don't shake hands anymore due to religious reasons and my younger brother is the same.

I have a clingy uncle (Dad's cousin), have to constantly remind him about no physical contact. He hugs all of his nieces (minus me lol). Because some people here in the UK are very open.

Lol, I'm doing a PhD...what's wrong with being educated and practicing your deen?
