Can you shake hands with local girls if you travel in Pakistan? This video tell you what you can do and what you can't do when traveling in Pakistan, in the end it encourages more Chinese to go traveling in Pakistan.

Even we don't shake hands. It's a culture here not to shake hands with ladies, and the culture has been adopted from religion.

But it's not like someone will start beating you for that.. At most, the lady will smile while avoiding handshake.. and that's it.. The people around her will also not be bothered about that..

No, if you don't want to get beaten with sandals and a bunch of "brothers"
Nahi nahi yaar.. People don't beat for these small things..

But if someone tries to harass a lady, then for sure he is in trouble..

Generally speaking no as physical contact of whatever kind is avoided by women with men from outside the family. In some urban parts however there will be no problen shaking hands with females. The rule generally is that the female should extend her hand first to let you know its okay. Overall as a foreigner most people will not be offended if u initiate a handshake since you dont know local customs. They will just let you know the local custom. However idiots exist everywhere so better to be wary.

It is sad since the males in the south asian region and Muslim countries think women as their sovereign property, touching one even for a handshake will trigger their insecurity so fast that you will propably be lynched or worse.

Lol.. it is not insecurity.. it is called respect.. unlike a country where children's heads are chopped off, and other religion people are lynched every now and then..

And no, no one will lynch a man if he offers his hand for a handshake.. at most, the lady will smile and avoid that.. that's it..

Nothing to do with "sovereign property" but to do with protecting a woman and preventing an escalation of unwarranted Indian behaviour.

Depends on the occasion. If it's an official business meeting then yes but if your shopping in the mall then no.
