I think another member commented that he can differentiate between noor in eyes of a Muslim and non-Muslim so I was replying to that when well wisher asked. Seriously noor in eyes is not something that could be in eyes of every Muslim so thats why I responded sarcastically.

Now listen ,

Feeling emotion is very different from reading emotions,
It is called Empathy -the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.


Whereas, Reading emotion happens when we want to feel and know about their emotions but due to some reasons we cannot feel that person's emotion ,

This happens due to certain causes & reasons -
1- Your own causes -
Lack of Empathy & sensibility in yourself ,
Urge to know & feel

2-Other party's causes -
Concealment,
Deception,

3-Common causes -
You are not much familiar with that person ,
You don't know everything about them etc.

But if you failed to feel or can't feel their emotion then, the very urge of knowing what they are thinking & what's going on with them ,causes you to read their emotions.

Brother remember Reading of emotion has no place in close relationships unless any concealment's taking place there.

To your 2nd Question ,

As far as feeling of emotions are concerned the eyes have no counterpart.
