Well i can explain , But some people call it boring ,
Kinesics(a.k.a. Body language) - is the interpretation of body motion communication such as , Movements of body , Gesture , Posture , Facial expressions etc. These are guided by our feelings and thoughts as well as perception .
Nodding of head, Blinking of eyes, waving of hands, Shrugging of shoulders , postures of hand & legs, expressions of our thoughts & feelings all of these movements are signals that our body sends out to communicate. These very movements conveys messages , attitude , feelings , mood , status etc.

Nervousness , anger , fear , scorn , determination , horror , sympathy , pity , lack of understanding , disinterestedness, certain urges etc . can be much better expressed through the Kinesics than through words.

Just same as Phycology and Botany
