Can Iranian movie 'Muhammad' alter Islam's violent image?

@war&peace

I removed your post only this time without giving infractions, since I'm the Mod and you personally insulted me, next time, you won't see the kind side of me again. So if you want to post here, learn to act civilized without insulting other members.

Why and how dare you?. You have abused your authority. Show me to how did I insult you?

People who convert are generally those who are going through mental depression...as soon as they come out of it they realise what a horrible mistake they made and leave Islam.

I myself am an example of it..I converted to Islam in 2005 and reverted back to Hinduism in 2006 after I did a good deep research of Islam and found it is nothing but..... leave it.
A hindu devdasi complaining and lying.

Are you a Takfiri or just ignorant or both?
It is obvious his face is not even showed in the movie, why do you people keep repeating the same none-sense?

Because they are jealous. Otherwise Qatar just announced to make their own movie of the Prophet: Qatar plans to one-up Iran's Mohammed film

They are jealous that Iran has done it and is going to benefit from the projection of soft power of Islam in this world and the divine grace in the next.

There are a few possibilities:

1) You're takfiri/wahabi etc
2) You're badly ignorant on this matter
3) You're a little kid
4) You're a slave to the saudis/UAE sheikhs and are just saying what you think they want you to say.

I could not care whether you support Iran or not. What makes you think we care?

If you don't even have the logic to realise this movie does not even show the prophets face then don't be surprised when I wonder what is the source of your ignorance.

For the second time, this is not the first not the last time a movie about the prophet's life will be made.
All of your assumptions are false. All muslims love Holy Prophet

More movies will be made about the Prophet. There is no doubt about that. And it is a good thing. In fact Majid Majidi says the same thing: Iranian filmmaker: Movie “Muhammad (PBUH)” aimed at introducing accurate image of Islam

So, would you like it if I told you to take a middle finger up to your backside?

If I wanted to abuse my authority, you would have been banned by now.

@The Last of us You should also stop making it personal for other members, calling them takfiri, wahabi, etc. We do tolerate opposite opinions of any member, and we can and should correct them without getting personal.

I just said that in the words but you did see that picture, which you shared, with a middle finger up to every one. How was it different than me rather a picture is worth thousands of words.

First off; our Prophet PBUH specifically told us!, not to make an image out of him, the prophets or Allah.Secondly the depiction of the Prophet in the movie, is VERY inaccurate. This is how the prophet looked like,
10. Physical Looks of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)

The face of the prophet is not shown in the movie.

And the article has been written by a Pakistani journalist and as you must have read the article, he is very much appreciative of Iran's efforts.

Because the picture was meant for the Saudi grand mufti, who is completely and clinically blind. He can not see that picture at all.

As you can see, he has no eyes, only empty sockets:

Get over it. That pic I posted was for the Saudi grand Mufti and any other mufti who has 'takfired' this movie without even watching it, not any specific member of this forum.

Exactly. It reminds me of that art-less rich guy who sees an artist is attracting so much attention, so he tries to buy fame with money. Let me assure you, more than 80% of the movie crew will be westerners, since they are doing it only for a dick measuring contest. Name me on single prominent Qatari movie, and you can't certainly. So it's easy to understand the goal of this movie.

They have made even the life of prophet a sectarian matter.

Yes, in every sense of it. Announcing "one billion dollar" and "seven series" after Iran just released the movie, only means jealousy. Iran has been working on this movie since the days of the Danish cartoons. This movie is actually a reply to those cartoons. At that time, no Qatari or no Saudi started such a project. No one came forward to help Iran.

And today after complaining and bringing their sectarian attitude into this movie, they announce their own version of the movie, not out of the love for the Prophet and not to defend the Prophet against those cartoons and those ridiculing the Prophet but for the sole reason of their jealousy of Iran.

It is really a shame.

Depicting of Holy Prophet any sort of image is a blasphemy and no one will ever side with you on that....not the sufis, barelvis, salafis, wahabis.
OMG.... There is no IMAGE of Muhammad in this MOVIE!! Still guys come here condemning it!!! what a circus!!

This is common. We have exchange students here. More than 75% neo converts to Islam leave formally in a year. This is documented. The rest just stops following it. Otherwise, given the rates of conversion, the world would have been Muslim. In fact Evangelical Christianity has grown overall overtaking Islam in vast stretches of the world - especially Africa. And even in Jammu and Kashmir. You won't believe how many Kashmiris in the Valley have been converted to Christianity!

Islam has a violent image not cause of its teachings or its Prophet, but because of the followers of the Islam. So a movie about him won't change anything, unfortunately.
