We all saw how Chinese landing on moon failed so spectacularly. So, think before commenting on Vikram lander. India does these things only for PR stunt and has no real strategic objectives. Why should India spend unnecessary money on these when they serve no purpose? That is why India does these things in a cheap manner. No one is stopping others from doing the same.

No, it was just a taunt to China due to the recent friction and alliance with Pakistan. Otherwise, India never cared for Taiwan, Xinjiand or Hong Kong. Even now India has not issued a single statement on Hong Kong, Taiwan or Xinjiang

They are stunts to show off that India has the technology. This leads to additional revenues in commercial satellite launches as well as creates an international acceptance that India is advanced enough to not confront. There are many subtle things such as a single PSLV launching 104 satellites which is nothing but an indication that India has MIRV technology in ballistic missiles. Similarly, complex maneuvering and precision displayed in other missions have military applications in BMD or other areas. This gives an indication of the technology that India has and capable of converting to military use. The civilian missions are of little use by themselves

Looking back India in fact was used by the west to counter China before the border clash that is the reality. However to hide the truth Indian politician turns around and said China is the aggressor and stated China humiliated India in order for the politician to remain in power. If it was not for humanity during border clash China can penertrate to reach even the capital if it is mean to humiliate India but they did not, instead they halted. And this fact., I am not Chinese but Malaysian. The rest of the world is very clear on this. Advice whether you are Hindu or Buddhist, do not mess around in the mountain. Now, China is self sufficient and was the first Asian and second country to land a rover on Mars. Also, the first country to land a rover on Mars in first attempt. No one cares about India's cheap mars orbiter that needed NASA's help.

So what? China's Mars orbiter sent back high resolution photos of Mars. The NASA instrument on board the crashed junk probe discovered water on the moon not India.


China landed a rover on the moon in its first attempt.

India too discovered it. NASA instrument was mounted on indian spacecraft. China , inspite of many mission has contributed nothing towards the information about moon.
