Can China catch up with India in space race?

.
India is getting free technology transfer from EU, Russia, North America... no sanction... what else they need. When Pakistan start research on Nuclear technology, Pakistani students stop getting admission in Nuclear physics in the West...

.
I disagree. You are making it sound like it's because India never wanted to developed such heavy lift rockets. Dude, that's just ridiculous. India never had the capabilities to, reason you have been using ESA to do that for your heavy launches. Your space company to their credit have been trying really hard to develop a rocket the loft capacity of long march 3/falcon9/Japan's H-IIA, Russian Proton rockets etc for the past decades for example. Reason you guys came up with GSLV III. Eventhough as you said, you guys are still trying to master/perfect it. So it's commendable what you guys are doing, but to act as if you guys didn't really want or focus on that is rather deceptive.

that's just how delusional Indians operate. If they did, they will brag to death, a great scientific break-through, blah blah blah. But if you don't, they will say India doesn't need this, it's all PR   even though they need pay French to do it

They are thicked face. Don't you know that? :enjoy:

. .
Delusional Indians said China moon landing failed, only succeeded after multiple attempts, I point to him the fact that China

3 moon landing attempts, 3 success
1 mars landing attempt, 1 success

then he says India only behind 7-8 years

2003, China send man to space, did India do this in 2011?
2011, China send Tiangong-1 space station module, did India do this in 2019?
2013, China landed on Moon with Change 3, will India accomplish this in 2021?
2019, China landed on the far side of the moon with Change 4, will India accomplish this in 2027?
2020, China collected and returned Moon sample with Change 5, will India accomplish this in 2028?
2021, China landed on the Mars with Tianwen-1, will India accomplish this in 2029?
2021, China build 60 tons space station module, will India accomplish this in 2029?

Regarding the heavy rockets, you gave so ridiculous excuse that it's cheaper to pay French than send your own communication satellites.
And blah blah, you don't need this capacity. Then please enlighten us what do you plan to use for your planned Manned Moon mission?

Simply put, you can't, India doesn't have capacity to build heavy rockets.
Which part of the sentence saying that "Indian space needs is defence oriented" you did not understand? When did I claim that it is cheaper to fly french rockets? Do you have split personality disorder?

India is getting free technology transfer from EU, Russia, North America... no sanction... what else they need. When Pakistan start research on Nuclear technology, Pakistani students stop getting admission in Nuclear physics in the West...
Pakistan got its atom bomb technology from NATO. India got no critical technology from anyone but developed it itself. India only got those technology which it already had developed half way through.

.
@Smarana Mitra, please stop being stubborn. The Chinese have indeed landed a rover on Mars and SpaceX is currently testing a spacecraft that can potentially carry 100 people to Mars orbit and AFAIK land on Mars when refueled in Mars orbit.

India should do manned Mars mission, perhaps one-way settlement, and with collaboration of other Asian, African and South American countries at least by the mid-2030s. India should throw all its resources towards this and of course towards remaking the country into a welfare state. No excuses not to.

. .
Indian better get moon landing right first before talk big on others. I got a feeling UAE might even get ahead of India.

There is absolutely no race between China and India. Clearly, China has already won long ago. :enjoy:
No need to make fun of India. You guys were once in the same position as them as well. When US/Soviet Russia had completed dominance/monopoly over space. So there's no need to belittle their efforts . They too will one day in future get their acts together depending on proper planning/execution

I listed the facts debunk your bullshit and lies about China space program liked china failed moon landing attempts and your fancy claim like India only behind 7-8 years,

you keep coming up with excuse like 'defense oriented', 'India does not need it' 'India focus on doing cheaper way' and resort to personal attack after getting triggered. But totally unable to enlighten us what does ISRO plan to use for the planned Manned Moon mission?

see, no point talking facts with stupid self-delusional ignorant Indian trolls

Nobody can make fun of Indians but Indian themselves, are you not admitting what the Indian claimed 'can china catch up with India' isn't ridiculous and preposterous ?

And please, don't compare us to Indians, it's an ultimate insult to humble and hard working Chinese.

Japan is just a vassal of USA which was occupied after WW2. Japanese satellites are simplistic and don't have complex SAR or surveillance capabilities. Comparing Japan is a joke. They are silent because they are just vassals with no real technology
Damn....arguing with this is just. So Japan the most developed country in Asia even today is a joke to you. I will only say that even your country will need decades to get to Japan's current level. So a country that had been able to land on a meteorite billions of km away from Earth and retrieve them back to earth (a 6 years mission journey and they have done this twice now) is a joke to you, even the US is just launching yhrir just recently. When do think ISRO can achieve that type of feat for example? Do you know that until recently Japan still had the largest rocket carrier in operation in Asia before the Chinese managed to get the Long march 5 operational a few years ago?

Japanese in general are not boastful, having been there I can testify that they are one of the most humble people on earth.so ita easy fir so e people to overlook them. So the fact that they don't brag much shouldn't fool you about their capabilities that country possess. in fact outside the US even the Chibese will still see them as their biggest threat ahead of even India. The fact that you call them a joke just makes me think you are either trolling or just being naive. So I'll just leave things here. Hard to argue over such naive points.
In terms of Capacity, maybe it will need time to compete with CNSA.
Because CNSA itself in this year, will have VTVL Reusable Rocket that have Capacity to 8.4 tonnes to LEO (Long March 8 Rocket)

Long March-8 rocket likely to try out Vertical Landing in 2021: Chinese developer

In terms of Efficiency, of course those Space Private Companies will surpass CNSA in very near terms.
Like Landspace with their MethaLOX Engine

From what I red before the long march 8 that your state owned companies were planning to launch this year were not reusable ones. They actually planned to try the reusable ones a few years from now. Except they have revised their plans.
I still think private companies will best them to it.

Indians ridicule Japan's technology    , see, how delusional and foolish Indians are

Indians please answer how come this is only behind 7-8 years

Pls dont compare India with us. When we are in India position against US. We didnt BS and delude ourselves with chest thumping bragging to do self comfort. We admit our short coming and quietly work towards our goal of overcome those problem.

But here the Indian is different. They are 1.55m short but keep insist they are 1.8m tall with all kind of stupid self delusion reason or smear to make themselves feel good. If Chinese behave like Indian, we would not have reach today stage. Plus, what we all mention are facts, with no add on or exaggerate! All can be back by proof! :enjoy:

Japan didnt dare to brag with the Chinese becos, we possess manned mission to space capabilities. Both Chinese and Japan has their short and strong point. But here, we have an Indian who decide to magnify their Mars orbiter achievement to a stage of ridiculating themselves and deceived their audiences.

Not only that there anti trust law to prevent monopoly. USA was talking about anti trust law however they succumbed to it and become a plutocracy today. Not like delusional country that are proud of having a rich billionaire. Cow pee intoxication???
No, the way your authorities carried out the crackdown on alibaba was to send them a message . You don't just wake a morning at suddenly stop the IPO of your biggest company without any prior notice . That's not how a mature confident government reacts. The law should have been clearly drawn out, passed and published so private companies know what they have to expect then implementation could then be carried out for those who infringe on the law.
The way the alibaba fiasco played out was very wrong. That's not a government should treat their private champions. It just shows it more than just what they said it was. Else they would have cautioned them Long ago and Ant wouldn't have tried to file for an IPO in the first place without sorting out their issues with anti trust authorities. So I don't see anything good in the way your government handled that. If anything it just served to remind foreign investors about the volatility of the way the Chinese government acts and will dent Confidence in investors towards alibaba going forward.
Especially when the government targeted just them and hasn't fined any Alibaba's peers, compared to the record fine alibaba got. The others should have gotten the same if it was just about so called "anti competition laws". Lol
