I am not sure. Bangladeshis eat a lot of fish, so do the people in WB, Assam, Tripura and the other NE states. There are subtle differences but than again cooking style varies all over Bangladesh and same is for WB and the NE states in India.
South Indians eat a lot of fish and seafood in general too since all South Indian states have coasts through their entire lengths except the cooking style or recipes are completely different from that of WB, BD or NE thoughI am not sure.
