Nissan leaf is the best selling electric car. Tesla vehicles are still a novelties....even in the USA. Electric buses are most cost effective way to electrify transportation from a global perspective and that is dominated by Chinese firms from my understanding.

1925 Ford Model T sales alone were 2 million. Nissan Leaf will never catch up to the Model T...even cumulatively. Nissan and Tesla should throw in the towel due to Ford.

I'm sure you could keep a Model T on the road longer then most Tesla's. Model T could be kept running for many years with only a hammer and a screwdriver. How long will a Tesla battery pack last. I doubt it will last much past its battery warranty....8 years.

Not bothered watching video. In response to title, no one company has dominated car market. Other manufacturers still have a strong presence in market. Consumers are picky, if neighbour has a tesla they will buy a different car. Tesla is a great company but eventually its competitors will catch up and exceed them in electric cars.

Great point that effectively ends the argument at the onset.
However, there's little doubting that in most countries Tesla will be the market leader especially in the western world.

Telsa is good product. Only issue I have is people sharing predictions of Tesla's growth like it is 100 percent going to happen. Like I stated other manufacturers could put out a better car. Its a very competitive market, nothing is certain.

Soon enough Telsa will have their iPhone moment and all other automobile companies their Nokia moment. Only reason I din't buy one yet is because it's expensive. Even the model 3 is not in the price range of mid-tier priced cars.

Anybody who has driven or test driven even the conventional Byd vehicles may please give their review here. I have driven a few myself and found it of very inferior quality. Now, since I have an Indian flag, my review will be perceived as biased. Hence would love to see some review from posters of friendly or neutral flags.

Tesla cars are nice ones, but its CEO it's a m*r*n, He reminds me Obama, Zuckerberg, o Steve Jobs, they are very good marketing products (maybe the same Marketing Company is behind them), they are always treat well by the massmedia. But there is nothing inside them.

Unlike Bill Gates, I wonder why, Bill Gates is a real self made man, a real good man, and everybody is talking bad about him. I think because Gates is uncontrollable for USA ruling elite.

Zuckerberg, Musk, Jobs... seems to be robots instead humans, and they care only about themselves.

Said that, if another company invest the same quantity of money than Tesla, will get similar results.

Tesla cars are their workers product, they can change of company, Tesla cars like iPhones or Facebook are not the work of "one genius" as marketing brainwashing try to say.

But it seems people accept better this kind of propaganda, it's like if USA companies are using what they learn in Pop music industry with tech companies "leaders".

Nope, the Model 3 passed the leaf back in March 2020..

Today Nissan Leaf announced the 500,000 mark.
