Huawei's R&D amount is 16x of the R&D amount of the whole vietnam. And remember the vn R&D spending is not just invested in the 5D front, but on topics like agricultural, machinery, electronics, automobile as well. Only a very small fraction of the already very tiny amount of R&D money could be really spent on 5G. Now you want to advertise to others that vn has developed own 5G tech? What a nice joke!

If you look closer to it and compare to other alternatives then you will realize 5g is not the answer to everything. 5g has too many limitations, in terms of range, speed and cost. Take wifi. the technology is superior to 5g. The existing wifi 5 offers more range more speed with much lower cost. The incoming wifi 6 with 11 Gbit is far more superior to 5g with 1 Gbit for a fraction of the cost.

Wifi today exists in hotels, cafe, rail stations, etc. If the new wifi 6 is expanded to more public places, then nobody needs an expensive 5g phone, paying high price 5g tariffs for data usage.
