Two foreign nationals, a Norwegian and a German, have been asked to India after they took part in protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Lindenthal was photographed holding up a placard that read, "1933-1945 We have been there" -- an indirect reference to Germany under Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime. Former Home Minister P Chidambaram said he deserved India's gratitude for reminding it of "a dark chapter in the world's history".

'OFFICER NOT LEAVING ME WITHOUT A FLIGHT TICKET'

Janne-Mette Johansson said in a Facebook post that an officer from the Bureau of Immigration "is not leaving me before he can see that I have a flight ticket".

She said she was on her way to the airport, and that a friend was booking her on a flight to Dubai, from where she'll head to Sweden.

No need to worry, we should help them to carve out an enclave for them inside India simliar to the enclave turkey created in Syria. We can at max help them have their own 'Pakistan Junior', but they need to take the initiative themselves. In Pakistan there is no space now for the people who decided themselves to be there in 1947.
