This is all a red herring. India has a population of nearly 1.4 billion. The number of illegals you might have is probably about the number of 'illegal' pigeons which sometimes get trapped in my conservatory. Very, very, very few. The vast majority of the so called 'illegals' are natives. The two drivers of mass migration are war/persecultion, economic. The economic gap between India and neighbouring countries is insufficient to cause much migration. Which poor would want to migrate to India and pull rickshaws? Certainly non in Pakistan. I also refuse to accept that Bangla migration is as big as claimed. Again economic differantiation is not large enough. I doubt West Bengal is land of honey [Kolkatta appears to be hellhole with poor pulling rickshaws] and Bangla starving next door.


The odd Hindu Pakistani, Sikh Afghan or few other outlier do not even constitute 0.00000000000001% of Indian population given 1.4 billon pool. It's like a drop in the Atlantic Ocean. Yet the freakin drama created by India is as if it is Norway being invaded by mass migration. This is all distilled bullshat that only your media and dumb people lap up.

We in Pakistan have far, far greater number of migrants from Afghanistan, India, Bangla [they landed here in 1980s when economic differantiation was large enough and Pakistan is on the route to Europe] etc. Don't forget Pakistan's population is smaller. No sir you are wrong .I am from South to understand the extent of problem of illegals all you have to do is go to any construction sites or any fast food joint you will find illegal BD.i have come across people who cannot write their name but have pan card the card which is the easiest to get.A daily wage worker dsnt carry pan card.
Why do you think majority of Christian's votes for bjp in Assam which you guys know as one against minorities.

That's one of the reasons for bringing NRC in Assam .why would you have problem if the govt is asking to show some documentation showing you are in India before the cut of date in 1974.

U can disagree with him but he is entitled to his own views and opinions. What I'm wondering is why is he being kicked out? Shouldn't he have the right to free speech or something in a "democratic" India? I know he is not a citizen...but it's not like he committed a crime. Exactly what law did he break for which he is being kicked out?

I am one of them. Afghans are our brothers. They should all be given Pak citizenship providing they have no criminal record or evidence of subversive activity against the state. This should begin by establishing a 'Afghanka Legion' recruited from the refugees. After 5 year service they get Pak citizenship. Injured or killed in line of duty automatically get citizenship.
