Breaking news: Iran deal reached. Sad times for India. Iran gave the Chabahar port to India only because it was under sanctions. Now that the sanctions will be lifted, Iran will cancel the port deal.

Read in detail why:

Quote from above:

Third, sanctions played a part in compelling Tehran to finally give the go ahead (after a decade’s delay) to New Delhi’s request to develop its Chabahar port, which is strategically significant as an entreport in providing India access to Afghanistan. The lifting of sanctions might on the one hand reduce Iran’s enthusiasm for India’s participation in the Chabahar project and on the other bring in competitors with deeper pockets, such as China.

Region is gonna change now, it was smart move that Pakistan didnt come in Yemen trap. Now Gawadar will florish and we gonna have alot of business activities in WEST of Pakistan..
anyone who is wanna make money buy iranian currency now :)

Thats a bit of the push

Gwader and Chahbar have little effect on each other in reality

Pakistan has no issue with iran developing the port best of luck to our iranian brothers, we hate the indians however and should block them at every turn

Gwader will serve Pakistan and be a transit for both china, GCC and others

Whether india uses or can use or wont be able to use Chabahar is if no consequences to us

OMG! How ignorant are you, it's a blog entry. *FACEPALM*.

Why would Iran stop India, it will send a bad signal to potential investors.

You never know... don't get your hope too high..... at least till the time there is some official communication form Iran and India that the Chabahar deal is off... Iran is not like Pakistan that changes partners on whims....

Even the blog entry says it might. Why would Iran unnecessarily spoil relations with India and create a fickle investment policy. Investors always look for stability. Such a move would scare many away.
