Shirin Mazari is another dazed and confused soul - she was up in arms protesting against the Lal Masjid extremists in 2007. However, she has been mostly critical of the Swat action and termed it as 'being taken under US pressure' - I suppose the poor people getting butchered by the taliban in Swat did'nt affect her plush lifestyle in the capital!

I am not a fan of Human Rights folks, but as you already pointed out the killing would be extra judicial without a trial. How difficult is it to prosecute these guys on charges of murder, violence and treasonous activities? If this is done through a proper channel, it would help in establishing a transparent system.
