Twist in ‘rape’ case, woman claims GRP jawan helped her.

Police said that even her medical examination confirms that she wasn't raped. "The woman was produced in the court on Wednesday. She recorded her statement in front of the magistrate. She said that she was not threatened or raped by the constable," Vijay Kumar Singh, GRP SHO and the investigating officer in the case, said.

Kumar added, "In her statement, the woman claimed that she wasn't well and had wrongly boarded the train from Lucknow on Monday night. Since she was travelling in the sleeper coach without a ticket, the TTE asked her to get down, but the constable came to her rescue and got her a seat in the nearly empty coach meant for disabled passengers. Her medical report shows that she is a few months pregnant and maybe she fell unconscious on Tuesday because of weakness."

My problem is that I have no ear or tongue for picking up new languages. I came here as a teen. It's easiest picking up a new tongue before you reach the age of seven.

Never been a problem for me though. Hindi works everywhere.

I'm not surprised. It would not be so easy to commit such a crime in a train in India. I was thinking more on the lines of both the accused and the victim are in a relationship and the accusation was planned revenge.
