Burhan Wani a face of freedom, a Hero of Asia, a Hope of Kashmir and one of the most powerful and influential youth of 2016 was killed by rouge Indian Army on 8 July 2016. He sparked the biggest wave of freedom struggle world has seen in the beautiful valley cover with the blood of civilians.

This Death Anniversary is on 8th of July and India army will cross all limits to stop the protests that will happen on 8th of July. I am starting this thread to keep you posted on the events that are taking place.

In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War and Ghulam Nabi Waseem have paid glowing tribute to martyred popular youth leader, Burhan Wani, on the eve of his second martyrdom anniversary.
Indian troops had killed Burhan Wani along with his two associates in a fake encounter in Kokernag area of Islamabad district on July 08, 2016. Burhan Wani’s cold-blooded murder had triggered the ongoing mass uprising in the occupied territory.
Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War and Ghulam Nabi Waseem in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said that fateha khawni will be held on July 8 (Sunday) to commemorate 2nd martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani and 126 other people martyred by the Indian troops during mass uprising in 2016.
They said that martyrdom of Burhan Wani was another golden page in the history of the ongoing freedom movement. They denounced the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his recent statement and said that Kashmir was neither an issue of development or administration nor it could be resolved through military might. They said that the Kashmir dispute pertained to the future of millions of Kashmiris and it could only be resolved by giving them their inalienable right to self-determination.—KMS

Kashmir: Separatist leader Yasin Malik detained ahead of anniversary of Burhan Wani’s Death
Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was put under house arrest.

Police detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yasin Malik on Friday, ahead of the second death anniversary of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani, Greater Kashmir reported.

Malik was detained from his home, a police spokesperson said. He is lodged at Maisuma police station in Srinagar.

There is nothing special about Burhan Waning except that he was a chocolate faced terrorist with a privileged upbringing.

He was gunned down like a terrorist. That he was.

The police and army should organise an outreach program for other similar patents. And show them the reality of life.
