Well, last BNP government in BD wanted to have Magnetic train in Dhaka-Chittagong. The then finance minister said whoever wants the train should get the money from their own pocket and he aint giving no money for this project.. LOL

It is too expensive to build and operate the train, and it will be a white elephant. Finance minister has to think of all these, others can build castle in air.

First reform Pakistan Railways, introduce better machines, Introduce locally manufactured Buses and then come back and introduce bullet and lazer trains.

Imagine the cost of purchase and the cost to operate and maintain. I would prefer buses locally manufactured in numbers, proper bus services/stops and proper ticketing/card system should be introduced.

No need to reform railway... just close it and give licence to me for bullet train.
There will be no other profitable business in Pakistan's history as bullet train from Karachi to Islamabad.

I don't agree with you, first fix bus system in Pakistan, then proceed to higher grounds.

It has been six years since approval and still waiting....

Stupid project that hasn't been finished yet... Most likely it wil never be finished thanks to PPP
No, I was asking which stage it is in now. Has the feasability study done already.
Is it in land aquisition stage. Or has the work already started?
