Ok they are smuggling cows. But they are most innocent in the gang. These guys are locally known as Rakhal.. Real smugglers come in contract with them just to pass the cow across the border. They are actually killed when coming back with cows. Its becomes easy then for BSF. this job is very profitable. Single cow 12 thousand over night... They just cant resist.... BDR knows that they are innocent people... Only thing they are doing miking to raise awareness. Whenever they found someone they just prevent them, but BSF shoots them. I dont blame BSF. We should stop eating beef if we cant afford.

We eat three times. Though the young generation lives on chicken and egg which local farms can provide.. But all others lives on beef and fish. Rivers and sea provide us fish. But there is not enough place in BD after habitation, agriculture, industry for cow farms i guess..... people do this because a medium size cow in india is sold 8thousand . The same cow will be sold in BD for 50 thousand.. By the way each BSF bullet reduces Hasina's popularity 5%. This woman is doing everything for india. india is giving bamboo to her :p :p .

Legalizing cattle trade may increase the price by manyfold.Border hats may be a solution.
But i am sick and tired of this day to day killings.Something has to be done quick.
Otherwise the awesome people to people connection that is existent in the border areas and also to some extent between the two Banglas,may fade away gradually,which is a zillion times more worth than govt to govt talks,treaties and all,all because of some stupid smugglers,the BSF and the worthless Bangladeshi authorities(which does nothing,takes no initiatives in this matter in which their own ciizens are killed).

Anyway after seeing the craze for beef, I think beef must be expensive in Bangladesh.

When I was a child Goat mutton was cheaper in India and Chicken was expensive and considered delicacy. But then came the revolution in Poultry farm industries in India and chicken become much cheaper than Mutton. Now due to health concerns as well as price people mainly prefer chicken and refrain from red meat.

Until indian stooge awami regime is out of power there will be no let up of indian killing of Bangladeshis.

Unless Bangladeshis treat IB with respect, the killing will continue. Those BDs who are unhappy at BSF shooting should remember that no such incidents happen in IB b/n India & Pakistan which is a 1000 times more militarized with trigger happy soldiers on both sides manning the border.

Eventhough I am not a doctor a friendly advice to BDs...stick with lean meat rather than red.Its better for the health as it causes less cholestrol.(Just heard it from TV).

war is your speculation. Standing firm did not lead to war in the past and will not in future. Bangladesh has every right to be firm on protecting its border and citizens. If you are suggesting to be submissive to indian shooting and killing than you are preaching for something other than Bangladesh and what its people expect to see.

Yes there are economic and firming actions need to be taken so cow imports are not necessary from india. But even then indian traders will try to smuggle into Bangladesh.
