Lol, nice idea. Reminds me of "Big Bath" provisioning that used to go on when new CEOs took over companies.Could it be that now the engine is so near to maturation that BJP wants to take credit for the success, so a new name with the same core, and the whole credit goes to the minister who sanctioned it. Just saying
True. Was just indulging in a little bit of conspiracy theory.Lol, nice idea. Reminds me of "Big Bath" provisioning that used to go on when new CEOs took over companies.
But I think the CAG would have something to say about this, and by that I mean they would rip the GoI to shreds.
New tailwinds for Kaveri engine - The HinduThe Kaveri’s last big activity was in 2011, when it took a flight test in Russia fitted on the Il-76 transport plane. Although 90 per cent of the flight envelop was covered, at least five problems showed up, according to scientists.
Next year, the GTRE plans to show the engine’s performance first on an Il-76 plane and then as the second engine fitted on a twin-engined fighter like MiG-29. It would be tuned to certification standards.
Read your own quote you piece of monkey $hit! You claimed just losses, never air to air losses.Only during vietnam war by US's own admission?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post–World_War_II_air-to-air_combat_losses
89 losses not 2146.
What are you smoking?
If you are done acting like a braying jackass open the link. Around 1500 losses post ww2. HAL has reached that figure. Tooling the hunter, su-7 apart from the countless mig crashes.
Read your own quote you piece of monkey $hit! You claimed just losses, never air to air losses.
And, even if we take AIR TO AIR LOSSES, there were never 1500 crashes in the IAF, let alone the planes assembled by HAL in service with the IAF which crashed. And even then, crashes can be human error, bird strikes, and IAF faulty service.
Think before sprout out sensationalist junk from your keyboard, because you will eventually get caught in your own $hit trying to defend which cannot be defended.
I see you have switched to sniffing from smoking.
Air-to-Air losses around 1500. Includes transports and choppers shot down.
Are all HAL license made transports and below and own below as well.
Number of Chetaks, Cheetahs, Dhruvs crashed along with number of Mig 21,23,27 plus Hawker hunters, Su-7's, Ajeet's, Marut's,Su 30mki's etc the number far exceeds 1500.
Time to scrap HAL put the criminals on trial for murder and enhance BRD for license production and tooling.
Now read and understand before you quote me again
Most logical would be slow deregulation and privatisation of HAL in next 5-10 years
Alongside transfer of tooling and certain assembly lines to IAF BRD ( Base Repair Depot ).
For ACM Browne gave BRD's a big boost when he said IAF would license manufacture the Pilatus trainer in the BRD.
