The UN is far from clean. Saudis threatened to cut off bribe money it pays to a 'dirty organization' to remove it's names which shows exactly where Saudis stand.
It's like bribing a corrupt cop and threatening that corrupt cup with that money when he wants to report one of your crimes, one is dirty, other is dirtiest.
Do you think the useless list of a parody organization like UN really matters here? There is no need to be butthurt, the exact opposite. World media is doing a fine job showing a dirty and a dirtier (UN, Saudi regime) entity dealing with each other like this.
The only thing the world knows now is: Saudis killed children and blackmailed useless UN to get their name clean which had the opposite result. We are just sitting here and watching.
One with enough intelligence can easily understand that things went the worst way poaaible for Saudis.
Do you think that we care? I could personally not care less as this will not change anything on the ground. Everyone already knows that the UN is a useless organization, that all countries who are at war or have been at war should be blacklisted as all of them have killed civilians and that wars are ugly.
Nor is KSA looking after its own interests like any regional power and influential country anything new. KSA is a innocent lamb compared to the Security Council Member States (just in recent times let alone historically) on this front as well as compared to numerous other MENA states.
Anyway Houthi's are to be blamed for most of the civilian casualties in Yemen. It's not KSA's problem that those terrorists foolishly thought that they could conquer all of Yemen. Or that the Houthi's deliberately hide among civilians and use child soldiers on a large scale, which is something that the same UN report has confirmed. Or that KSA has much greater firepower. They should not have messed with a much stronger party. Simple as that.
Besides Iranians, who are worshipping the Al-Assad regime and whose Mullah's are directly supporting that regime, which is responsible for 100 times more civilian casualties, are the last people on this planet to point fingers. Not that their barking is of any importance.
This news just confirms KSA's big political clout, which is well-known across the world, and KSA's large humanitarian assistance. Something to be proud of indeed.
