This is a very complicated matter..where Tramp wants much more than these light sanctions from Europe.. controlling Iran's missiles can come easily through providing Ballistic missile technologies to Iran's neighbours as well as potent ABMs.. but the US wants nothing less than controlling the nuclear enrichment abilities of Iran through time.. (not to restart after 15 years from now on a commercial and industrial level..which might allow Iran to get big quantities of enriched Uranium and weapon grade Plutonium..but permanently)..still, Iran happens to have mastered the full nuclear cycle and thus have the know-how..that it can use at any time of its choosing (despite sanctions).. So the most rational action to counter this advantage of Iran is to allow Saudi Arabia to enrich Uranium on its own and assist it in mastering the full nuclear cycle, making it in par with Iran and thus creating some kind of equilibrium of capabilities in the region.. Both will be working on civilian nuclear programs and both can be ready to maintain that balance, but if one or the other tries to break out from it..the other will be ready to establish the balance again..either on the previous level or the escalation one.. We should call this theory: Mutual Assured Nuclear Weapons Capability (MANWC)..Just like Japan, Germany, Scandinavian and South Koreans have with their potential adversaries..It should be a deterrent enough before any MAD..
