LOL, Impressive but by no means domination

BYD delivered about 700,000 electrified vehicles in the second quarter of 2023, almost double the amount from a year ago.

Chinese EV maker BYD reported another impressive month, and quarter, of growth, besting even Tesla which put up its own impressive numbers for the second quarter of 2023.

Nope, Tesla has sold 889,000 BEVs through the first half of the year while BYD has sold 617,000.

Tesla doesn’t sell hybrids

China controls the whole EV supply chain. This is domination, no individual brands dominate EV market now. You so called Tesla "domination" is just BS.

My first mobile phone was something like this, in 1989. Philips.

Instead of top stacking mine was side by side and flatter with the antenna on the end. I actually had it under the passenger seat (to hide it from potential thieves). I ran the curly handset cord up between the seats and used the magnet trick to switch it on/off hook. This is why whenever i got pulled over for speeding the cops would see this curly cable between the sets and figured I was hiding a radar detector. I'd then have to show them the handset.

Looked something like this. I can't remember the model.

You are including gasoline hybrids...which even the Europeans agree are a stupid hack.

EU lawmakers approve ban on sale of new petrol, diesel AND hybrid cars from 2035

Here's what the CnEVPost says

71,338+90,369+102,670= 264,647 for the First QTR
104,364+119,603+128,196=352,163 for the Second QTR

264,647+352,163=616,810 total for the year

Plus BYD's oveseas sales after 2 years are still only around 10,000 month...and it isn't getting better.
