Israel is not deterred and they did airstrikes yesterday or tonight (im not sure) too. So that means there were missiles fired towards israeli planes but no plane was down otherwise israel wouldn't have attacked the very next day. Syrian's r lying i think, about the downed planes.

And now the Washington Times is reporting that syria fired 2 S-200 missiles at israeli planes.

Nothing new, reported in multible sources, according to Israel, the missile weren't even close to the fighter planes.
It may be because Syria want to deliver a missile and didn't even intend to shoot down those fighters, or those fighters avoided those missiles.
What ever it might be, Israel struck in yasterday's night too in response for 3 mortars falling In Israel's land which shows they're not afraid of Syrian response
