Saudi air defences shot down seven ballistic missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi militia on Sunday, with debris killing a man in what was the first death in the capital during the Saudi-led coalition’s three-year military campaign in Yemen. Saudi forces destroyed three missiles over northeastern Riyadh shortly before midnight, as well as others fired at the southern cities of Najran, Jizan and Khamis Mushait, the coalition said in a statement carried by state news agency SPA.

Debris from the missiles fell on a home in Riyadh, killing an Egyptian resident and wounding two other Egyptians, said coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki, according to SPA.

The Houthi-run SABA news agency reported the group’s missile force had targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a Burkan H2 missile.

The group also fired other types of missiles at airports in Jizan, Najran and Abha, another southern Saudi city, according to the SABA report.

Arab Coalition is moving ahead and even Houthi clans are giving up arms and joining the President Hadi's troops in large numbers. Houthi Leader Abdullah Saleh was killed in an open battle and the new Houthi leader is not having much control over the houthi clans and the Old Yemani Houthi Guards are well aware about the brotherhood which was shown by the Saudis. Saudis did helped the Houthis against the communists decades back. Houthis clans are not willing to take orders from Iranians and Pakistanis.

Mohammed Al-Hammadi said that the Civil Defense teams in the city of Riyadh on Sunday evening responded to the incident of the fall of fragments of ballistic missiles - after interception and destruction - on residential neighborhoods in different locations.
One of the shrapnel fell on a residential house resulting in the martyrdom of an expatriate and the wounding of two others, all of them of the Egyptian nationality. The incident was handled according to the plans prepared for that.

They build the test facility in late 50s, but they never had any ballistic missile. According to wiki , even after 1960 there is no record if Egypt has any operation ballistic missile.
