I haven't bothered myself reading about the conflict so I was trying to figure out why they would do that. Refugee camps make sense I guess.

Can it also be the opposition trying to get Turkey into the fight? The opposition captured a bunch of Iranian pilgrims and claimed that they were IRGC forces lol

I just don't understand why Turkey is trying to resolve this mess!! Yeah there are people dying. Yeah it's sad. But that's the reality of a tribal society like Syria (same as Libya and Afghanistan). A lot of Arab countries are still tribal and secterian. They fight for their tribe and religion and this will continue with or without Assad. Assad is at least a secular. Turkey would have it worse with a muslim brotherhood type of government.

It was a fire fight between FSA and Syrian Army at Syrian border area, some bullets reached Turkish villages and villagers panicked, that's all.

This area is being used by Americans and British special forces and trainers to train and launch attacks inside Syria so i guess Syrians has decided to send a clear message.
