While it's convenient to blame the (pathetic, corrupt, incompetent) civilian government, we must also ask our security forces and intel agencies why they are failing to defend us.

I know some very brave patriots involved in CT ops constantly putting their lives on the line for the rest of us --- but their courage and sacrifice will be in vain unless there is a strategic shift at GHQ that realizes that we have to raise the cost of supporting anti-Pakistan terrorism for our neighboring countries. Without the fear of consequences / disproportionate reprisals (other than ISPR press releases that get Army fanboys wet but don't do much else), our enemies will continue to exploit our weaknesses and target us relentlessly.

We are not attacking the source, and we will continue to suffer for our defensive / back foot approach.

Two Bomb Disposal Squad officials (BDS) were killed in Quetta’s Sariab Road area on Monday evening while disarming an explosive device.
The bomb weighed 20 kilogrammes, and had been planted beneath the Sariab Bridge.
Police officials added that five people were also injured in the explosion. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment.
