Breaking News "Occupy Central" - The criminals are surrendering to Law

Good to see the rule of law and the will of the people being upheld.

Indeed. But that has already caused a deep divide in the community
Nonetheless this has marked a significant chapter in the 2-month long protest
There are still protesters who remain stubbornly to stay on the street probably until their last breath + the J Wong hunger strike fiasco
There are still more events to be unfolded and one of those which will attract great attention is how the 3 organisers will be prosecuted and the ensuing legal battle over this.
Just prepare your popcorns buddy. :pop:

Hong Kong's Occupy Central leaders surrender to police as protests are running of steam

The three founders of Hong Kong's Occupy Central movement - Benny Tai, Chan Kin-man and Chu Yiu-ming - have surrendered to police for their role in the protests. They went to the police station, filled in some forms and were released without charge.

They have called on the protestors to retreat and end the occupation which has been causing tremendous amount of inconvenience to the public and shop owners in the affected areas. Some protestors vandalized property too. This has cause untold damage to Hong Kong's reputation as a financial center. If those idiots keep on protesting and are not careful, Shanghai and Singapore are happily waiting to take over.

Absolutely
The protesters have to come to terms with reality that they are the minority, so the remaining criminals on the street have to leave. Now they are the public enemy as the prolonged commotions flare up immense social outcry against the protesters. The Rule of Law is the core value of HK and the hooligans are damaging this important social fabric of their own. Not only Shanghai and Singapore, but also other financial markets of the world are laughing at their stupidity behind closed doors :dirol:
