Why you guys repeatedly keep bombing watch towers with border guards manning them posing no threat? And you did so two days in a row causing casualties, this is your fault. Your army is violating the ceasefire left and right, it simply needed to tolerate demonstrations and not try scaring Hamas into preventing them by launching air strikes.

IDF Spokesperson Ronen Manelis delivered a special statement following the escalation in the south and continued rocket fire from Gaza towards Israeli communities.
"What we saw today from the morning is a severe terror attack on the State of Israel, which shows a loss of control by Hamas after it failed to cross the fence - it chooses the path of terror," the IDF spokesman said.
"We carried out three waves of attack on dozens of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip, including weapons manufacturing sites and several tunnels, and the attacks will intensify as much as necessary. Senior Hamas figures are hiding, and they know why," Manlis added.
Dozens of rockets and mortar shells have been fired at Israeli territory over the course of the day Tuesday.
At least three IDF soldiers were wounded by shrapnel from rocket strikes Tuesday.
Earlier Tuesday, a mortar fired from Gaza struck near a kindergarten on the Gaza border.
Both the Hamas and the Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations claimed responsibility for the continuing attacks.

A new barrage of mortar and rocket launches is reported from Israeli communities near the border with Gaza.
Esplosions are heard and sirens wail in the city of Ashkelon and the town of Netivot. The also go off in the Eshkol region, Sdot Negev and the Hof Ashkelon area.
There are no immediate reports of injury or damage.

It is not striking civilian homes just yet because it does not want a repeat of 2014 scenario. Instead it is waiting for the Palestinian factions to undue their heightened state of alert and seeks to conduct targeted assassinations of politicians or other figures afterwards by several days.
Thus the Palestinian factions are not withdrawing from this heightened state of alert to not give a strategic advantage for Israel, rather force them to hit a limited number of targets and get it over with now while sending a message of deterrence. If the Palestinians pulled out of battlefield now, not only will Israel continue trying to quell unarmed demonstrations via military strikes. It will also attempt assassinations of officials.
