Lol, I agreed with your points. For some reason bangladeshis like to claim their cricket team are lighter skinned than Sri Lankans, and they take pride in that. You have India and Pakistani cricket team looking much more fair skinned and well built than the Bangladeshi cricket team. Lol my mom always complains about how Sri Lankan our cricket team is looking whenever they play. Also I still believe genetics play a much bigger role in physique than nutrition does, for that reason if a healthy bangladeshi guy were to go visit Somalia or Sudan, the Somali people or Sudanese people would still tower over any bangladeshi individual despite the famine crisis these people have been going through for years. There are a lot of poor African tribes out there also who would tower over bangladeshi people.

Also I'm not a Sheikh Hasina lover either, although she's done well in terms of developing Bangladesh's economy up to this point, but she and her father have completely alienated the educated Bangladeshi youth today from religion, turning a majority of the Dhaka's educated population into munafiqs. I also agree with Bangladeshi women's love for Indian dramas, especially the Kolkata ones. They are obsessed with that stuff, they've been learning a lot of the hindu culture shit from them. It's only going to get worse, since Bangladeshi film industry is now collaborating with the West Bengal film industry.


Also my family and I are sylheti, sylhetis are in my opinion the most conformist group of muslims in all of South Asia a long with Pathans/Pashtuns. Sylhetis don't like non-sylhetis people because they are not religious enough for us, their culture is different from sylhetis, and they are arrogant as well. The difference between a non- sylheti wedding and sylheti wedding is that sylheti weddings will have 80-90% of the aunties in hijabs; a non-sylheti wedding will probably have 20% aunties wearing hijab as a fashion statement, where as the rest will be all going out wearing saris inappropriately, and as you said, showing off their pot bellies; on top of that they will be wearing bindis. I honestly would never go for a non-sylheti girl in my life no matter how beautiful she is, albeit I do appreciate the beauty some bangladeshi girls can have.


The only thing I disagreed with you on was your adamant defense for India's low rape rate, that's pretty much it.

Haha, fair enough mate. BTW I am not defending India's rape rate as low....its obviously under-reported by large degree....just no country really has the moral high ground on subject to point fingers when under-reporting is global phenomenon. Between developing countries, well there is plenty to nitpick about who is more socially transparent through media, culture etc....so again its pretty futile subject. This was my issue on that subject, nothing else really.

Anyway hope to see you post more and yes best of luck to BD to retain and promulgate its distinct home culture...rather than be so dissonant in what it actually absorbs nowadays and what ppl here want to stronk-project.

As far as the munafiq go, yes they go hand in hand with "system needs to be improved" (leftie) compared to "people need to be improved" (right)...and hence they over-rely on what the system tells them about itself. You do need few good big size defenders and what I mean by good size least 6ft 1-3 and a goalie (preferable not highly essential, some shorter keepers can leap and jump higher than a taller keeper for example Fabian Barthez of France who played for Man U, and Pepe Reina ex LFC keeper vs our dear current keeper Simon Mignolet of Liverpoo).
Having good size centre backs and a good size dm will be enough with rest being aberage to normal, it doesnt has to be all 6ft. This was South Korea not North, South Koreans have always been the biggest made Asian race, It's pretty obvious if you travel there.. Study a bit about demographics of different countries and learn something, May be when informed you wont need to make generic comments

And yes i watched to game.. There was'nt any obvious superiority that Germans had over the Koreans physically, though they were taller

Watch some Korean dramas and you'll see that most Korean actors stand above 5"10; That is not obviously the case with the Bangladeshi celebs.

In general Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese have far superior athleticism than Bangladeshis, and that is a fact based on their performances in past Olympics.

Bangladesh should eagerly solicit the training support from Brazilian coach. I read somewhere that the Brazilian coaches will be training our own coaches. If materializes it will have a positive impact on the way we play football.
